Bothaville, South Africa, May 2026 – FAW Trucks Southern Africa recently participated in the 59th NAMPO Harvest Day, one of Africa’s largest and most recognised agricultural exhibitions, which concluded on 15 May 2026 at NAMPO Park in Bothaville, Free State. Held under the theme “Resilience through Innovation”, the event welcomed 81 822 visitors over four days, with Wednesday recording the highest single-day attendance of 24 579 visitors. More than 910 exhibitors showcased the latest innovations across the agricultural value chain.
Widely regarded as South Africa’s premier agricultural showcase and one of the most important gatherings of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, NAMPO Harvest Day continues to serve as a critical platform for mechanisation, technology, inputs, and commercial solutions.
FAW’s Growing Footprint and Contribution to South African Agriculture Over the past year, FAW Trucks Southern Africa has significantly strengthened its position in the agricultural sector through the introduction of new, purpose-built models designed to address the real challenges faced by farmers — from improved efficiency and lower operating costs to greater resilience in tough conditions. This rapid product development aligns perfectly with the 2026 NAMPO theme, demonstrating FAW’s commitment to supporting South African agriculture through innovation and reliability.
The brand’s locally assembled vehicles, produced at its state-of-the-art facility in the Eastern Cape, are engineered to withstand the demanding conditions of South African farms. With a strategically located dealer network across key agricultural regions such as the Free State, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng, FAW ensures farmers have ready access to sales, service, parts, and technical support — reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.
The models on display at NAMPO 2026 included:
- 4.110FL-MT
